It's a portrait of Amy Lee, but I don't know how much it looks like her. I've been looking at it for too long to notice the mistakes I think.

who cares if it looks like her buddy O.O that f*****g owns, its so simple yet it is so effective you should paint more stuff like this dude but try to do it without reference unless you did this without anyway?

but seriously you should do more just like this its really great

it's not how you get there, its what the finished piece looks like that matters!

XD It's fantastic! I knew instantly who it was. Very good job!

X3 What I like best about it is that your dont try to get too intense with your shading. (I've had bad instances with Art teachers who would try to make me over-shade, which just makes it look dirty.) This looks very clean and beautiful.

Wow, thanks, mate!

I did do it with reference, yeah, but I kind of messed with the photo first to get the right contrast I wanted etc before beginning the painting.

I'm glad you like this one!
It was pretty fun to paint too, so I'll definitely be doing more.

Thanks for the comment!

Amy Hartzler is very clean and beautiful, lol so I suppose it fits

I didn't want to shade in places where I couldn't see shading on the face, or get too dark with it, so I built up slowly from lighter shades to darker.

I'm really pleased this was so popular. It was just a bit of extra practice to start with, but I do like it. It's my desktop background now XD

Thanks for the nice comments!
